Taste Africa - Father's Day Edition
Chef Afia grew up in Ghana watching her mother and older sisters cook and prepare meals. Nostalgia plays a key role in why she created her pop-up series, Taste Africa in Style. She delivers modern twists on traditional African recipes. This Sunday is dedicated to fathers and the menu is popping with flavors, from the Egyptian Cucumber Salad to Tunisian Chickpeas and Nkatekwan. Nkatekwan is beef or goat meat soaked in a peanut butter sauce served with seasonal vegetables. Our mouths are watering too.
