Fringe Flair
The Hollywood Fringe Festival—18 days of unmatched theatrical fun in the heart of Hollywood—opens tonight. This year, in addition to traditional performances, the fest will be opening with programming about virtual reality's role in the future of theater.

Sanrio Snacktime
Starting on Friday, Plan Check Kitchen + Bar will be teaming up with Sanrio to celebrate the 20th birthday of two prominent characters. Pompompurin is in sandwich form and Chococat makes an appearance as a cookie.

Fashion Fun
Shop till you drop at MADE LA—an open-air market called "The Stores" with over 30 local pop-up shops featuring clothing, accessories and art. Highlights include: MOSCHINO Men's Spring Summer 2017 and Women's Resort Collection + After Party (Friday night), HOOD by AIR's Capsule Collection Presentation with live music performance by Yves Tumor and Golf Wang Collection and Live Experience by Tyler The Creator. Plus, there will be giveaways, live music and art installations—basically something for everyone, even if you’re not a fashion hound.

Show Your Pride
LA PRIDE, the world's first gay pride parade, is on like Donkey Kong in WeHo (beware: street closures). For the three-day fest this year, LA PRIDE Grand Marshal is Jewel Thais-Williams, who opened one of the first black U.S. discos in the 70s. Special musical guests include Charli XCX, Bebe Rexha, Carly Rae Jepsen, Faith Evans and Krewella.

Saturday, June 11
Taco Takeover
Tacolandia—it’s kinda like Portlandia with more tacos and no safe words. LA Weekly’s fourth annual gourmet taco fest will feature live mariachi music, cash bars and more than 100 taco vendors curated by the world's first Tacorazzo, Bill Esparza. Um, yeah, we’ve never heard of a Tacorazzo either. Pro tip: pace yourself; there’s plenty of tacos for all, so take it nice and slow, hombre.
