It’s the second week of June, so LA Pride and Design Week are calling the shots all weekend long. With legendary Drag Queen Bingo and the LA Pride #ResistMarch on the lineup, the LGBTQ community needs you to come out and show some love. In between the love, boost your creativity with one of the many workshops at LA Design Week. If you prefer to be a spectator, check out Atmosphere, a show dedicated to the air around you. If that's not enough to get your engines revving, Carl Hopgood is unveiling his newest art piece at a sex shop in Hollywood and LA is attempting to break the world record for longest pizza ever made. Out There, an all media exhibition celebrating the LGBT experience, has been a key component of WeHo's Pride Weekend for a whole decade. The gallery opens at Gallery 825 this Friday and runs for a week until June, 16. The pieces involved were juried by William Escalera and Francisco George.

Drag Queen Bingo
No, you're not kicking it with your grandma and her home girls. You're slinging drinks with some of the finest drag queens in Los Angeles. Drag Queen Bingo is a legendary event and has been voted "Best Bingo" by both Los Angeles Magazine and LA Weekly. Additionally, there have been dozens of celebrity ball callers from the likes of Britney Spears and Neil Patrick Harris to Tippi Hedren and Florence Henderson. Be sure to call ahead and make a reservation, it's an event that is bound to book up quick and you'll want to start Pride weekend off on the right foot.

LA Pride
L.A. Pride Week is tossing in a twist this year as the traditional parade of celebrities and floats will be replaced with #ResistMarch. The march begins at 8 a.m. at Hollywood Boulevard and Highland Avenue and will end at West Hollywood Park, a 3.5 mile journey, so be sure to bring water and hydrate. The rally is all-inclusive and invites members of the LGBTQ community and their allies to protest the current administration.

Bonkerz! Saturday Gay Pride with Dirty Sanchez and Candis Cayne!
The Precinct is throwing down this Saturday with Candis Cayne and Dirty Sanchez. Whitney Fierce is the music mama of the evening and will be spinning just the right beats for your death drops. Lockwood 51, L.A.G. Vintage, Horse and Horn and Nathan’s Rapport will be selling queer art, wearables, and much more so support the local LGBTQ arts and make sure your wallet is packing. For extra entertainment, master puppeteer Matt Scott has quite the show prepared for you. Doors open at 9 p.m., so pregame hard and get your ass over there for a night of shenanigans.

LA Design Festival
Start LA Design Week off Friday, June 9 at 7 p.m. with a Creative Jam hosted by Adobe. The two-part design experience demonstrates and celebrates creativity with a three-hour design showdown tournament. Additionally, a series of events is going down at ROW DTLA and South City Market throughout the weekend, like the de LaB Making LA Together workshop, A+R Showroom Preview Party and Unique LA's Watercolor Workshop. The Food Truck Collective is finally offering a weekly event every Thursday to the folks of North Hollywood. While the list of food trucks varies weekly, the giant Jenga tournament and DJ are here to stay. Last week's events had scrumptious, mouthwatering food from gourmet BBQ on the rocks with Flaming Lava Grill and spicy salmon sushi balls from Rice Balls on Fire. Sustainable Wine + Dinner V
The Los Angeles Zoo is throwing a Zoo-LAbration to celebrate its 50th Anniversary. The first event is a Sustainable Wine and Dinner Series on June 8 to continue supporting their commitment to conservation. Throughout the evening you will enjoy a five-course farm-to-table dinner with wine pairings from J Lohr Vineyards and Wines. The meal is inspired by the season and is created by the zoo's executive chef, Brad Robertson. Note, the dinner is limited to 50 guests, 21 and older.

The Life and Times of Frida Kahlo: Presented by Long Beach Opera

1950's Swing Dancing Night
Channel your inner Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers this Sunday at The Wiltern for their second ever Swing Night.
