Spend your Friday night unwinding under the stars and getting lost in the Nature Gardens of NHMLA for the last time until next summer. This Friday, there will be music from KCRW DJ Marion Hodges, botanical tours with the garden staff and live animal meet and greets. The Throw Down - Cornhole Tournament
This is a big deal. Spencer Makenzie’s Fish Co. is hosting the largest West Coast Cornhole Tournament this weekend. What’s cornhole, you ask? You must not be from the midwest! It’s the great unofficial American tailgating game where players throw bean bags into holes from 30 feet back. 192 teams will be competing for over $32,000 in cash payouts. For all teams who can claim Ventura County residency, there's a chance at an additional $5,260. Money money money! So come sip beer and get involved in some fierce competition.

The Boulet Brothers, LA's most glamorous drag queen overlords, are shining bright like diamonds this weekend as they kick off the Mistresses of Ceremonies event at DTLA Proud Festival. Los Angeles Taco Festival 2017
