Teri Johnson is a travel and lifestyle expert and the host and executive producer of Travelista TV, an online video network with a focus on travel, culture, and lifestyle. Known for her spontaneity, jovial personality and her ability to present travel and lifestyle advice and experiences to all demographics, she is recognized as a global travel expert. Her passion for adventure, storytelling and her multi-lingual talents has taken her to 66 countries where she has produced over 200 videos for tourism boards, automobile companies, hotels chains, etc. Teri has appeared in national advertisements, web series, and online campaigns with Toyota, Samsung Galaxy, Corning Gorilla Glass, Ford, Waldorf Astoria, and Choice International Hotels. She is also the host of her own 12 part series for the Travel Channel entitled “Fall in the Finger Lakes w/ Teri Johnson." Teri has been a guest on CNBC’s “On the Money”, NBC’s “Celebrity Apprentice,” Travel Channel’s “Stuff Rich People Like,” Huff Post Live, etc. In late 2014, Teri launched a luxury home fragrance brand called the Harlem Candle Company, which is the manifestation of her love affair with fragrance, jazz, and Harlem where she currently resides. The Harlem Candle Company specializes in scented candles inspired by the cultural luminaries, jazz legends and the Harlem Renaissance. Each candle is specially handcrafted using top grade soy blend wax and infused with one of a kind fragrance oils designed by a team of globally recognized expert perfumers. Teri earned a Masters in Business Administration from Florida A&M University and a certificate of achievement from the Universitè de Paris-Sorbonne. She also studied Italian wine at Lorenzo de Medici in Florence, Italy and has studied at the School of Visual Arts (SVA), the New York Film Academy and Columbia University in New York City. Teri is proficient in French and Spanish, speaks limited Italian and can toast in twenty languages. When she is not traveling, the Texas native resides in New York City.
