Horse Trails in Western Cape is a reasonably exposed beach break that has reasonably consistent surf. Spring and Summer provide the optimum conditions. The best wind direction is from the east northeast. Tends to receive distant groundswells and the ideal swell direction is from the southwest. The beach breaks offer lefts and rights. Good surf at all stages of the tide. When the surf is up, it can get quite busy in the water. Take care of rocks in the line up.
