Pier Concerts
It’s double the fun at the Santa Monica Pier this weekend. The Twilight Concert Series continues Thursday night with Latin superstar Natalia LaFourcade, who just made a killing at the Latin Grammys. And on Friday night, ALT 98.7 gets the jetty jumping with the ALTimate Summer Camp featuring The Naked and Famous, The Strumbellas and more.

Pop-In@Nordstrom x Vans
Pop-In@Nordstrom, the pop-up concept for Nordstrom’s edgier looks, is celebrating Vans’ 50th anniversary with a Vans pop-up store. To celebrate the collaboration, there will be a kickoff party this Friday at Resident, one of our favorite bars in DTLA. Hip-hop artist Ty Dolla $ign and R&B disco babe Kitty Cash will be on hand to funk things up.

Virtual Reality Rave
Two full days of escapism hit the LA Convention Center this weekend with the Virtual Reality Summer Expo. Crammed full of 160 panels, exhibitors and presentations, the Expo will also be featuring cutting-edge demos from Oculus Rift, HTC Vive, PlayStation VR, Google Cardboard and Samsung GearVR. Keep Calm and Boil On
