Where: Los Angeles
What: Break them away from Spongebob with these local adventures.
Who: The name Breegan Jane is synonymous with many titles—designer, entrepreneur and social influencer. You might recognize her interior design work at Leona in Venice, or maybe you heard her on her podcast, Mom Life Yo on Dash Radio, where she offers parenting advice and comic relief for modern mamas. Her most prized title? Mom. Below, Breegan shares her favorite LA spots for fun family time with her boisterous boys.
Malibu, All ages
Breegan Jane: My kids and I love the food here, and they love chasing the ducks near the lake. It’s the perfect place for parents and kids to play, relax and enjoy a good meal.
Au Fudge
West Hollywood, Ages 1+
BJ: Sweets and treats abound for the boys and me at Au Fudge. They love the kid-friendly activities and desserts, and I enjoy indulging in the delicious beverage options. Cookies and Cocktails? Enough Said! Thank you, Jessica Biel!
Annenberg Community Beach House
Santa Monica, All ages
BJ: Who doesn’t enjoy a luxury pool experience every now and then? The restaurant on site allows me to dine while putting my toes in the sand, and there’s a park within eye's view that the boys can enjoy. Another “best of both worlds” spot for me.
The Venice Beach Boardwalk
Venice, All ages
BJ: There's nothing quite like introducing young minds to the cultural melting pot that is Venice Beach. It’s legendary! There is a bit of everything on the boardwalk, from vendors to crafts, even break-dancing! The kids never have a dull moment, and no two trips are alike. Best of all, it’s free!
JW Marriott Los Angeles
Downtown, Ages 1+
BJ: The kids and I enjoy going to brunch at JW Marriott. The atmosphere is extremely kid friendly, and there's a great deal of enclosed space where the kids can run around. Plus, I have peace of mind knowing the hotel dining staff is accustomed to entertaining families. They lovingly welcome my energetic tots!
Aquarium of the Pacific
Long Beach, All ages
BJ: This is the perfect excuse for a traffic-free, get out of town weekend drive for me and the boys. It gives us the opportunity to spend time together, both on the road and at the aquarium. We enjoy all the exhibits, and the bonus is they’re both educational and entertaining.

When she's not adorning the homes of celebrities or rallying the mommysphere over the airwaves, find Breegan bicycling on the Venice Boardwalk with her sons in tow.
