When you have friends in town, how do you show them LA?
What I find quintessential to the LA experience are the ever-changing worlds of art and fashion, and the lifestyle scene in general is fabulous. I'd start by taking friends to my favorite showrooms where I often pull outfits for events and special occasions, then check out new galleries and museums like The Broad, which is LA's newest contemporary art museum. After that we’d eat at Pistola, a hip but classic and nostalgic tribute to Italian comfort food. And at some point I’d take them for a morning hike in Griffith Park. As for shopping, a must-see is Just One Eye, a concept boutique where among the finest designer selection you can see (and buy) exclusive Murakami pieces and limited-edition The Row bags. And I couldn't let anyone go back to Europe without having them try my favorite pressed juices of the moment, Clover Juice. The best one to try is the Coco Snow (with real coconut meat in it).

Consider Marta your smize idol.

You can try these bad boys on at Just One Eye.

This boutique offers super cool clothes in a bright, airy space.
Why do you love the neighborhood of Little Tokyo in Downtown LA?
The Little Tokyo Marketplace is so much fun. Every time I go there I feel like a little girl in a candy store. I'm obsessed with all their sweets and snacks, and cannot find anything like that elsewhere in Los Angeles. Mikawaya, the ice cream store next to the market, is pretty good too. I'm not a huge fan of karaoke nights, but last time I went to the Max Karaoke Studio, it was pretty epic.
As an Italian yourself, where do you go to find the best pasta in town?
The mac and cheese at Soho House is probably my favorite pasta dish in town, absolutely perfect, I couldn't actually find anything similar in Italy. I'm also a huge fan of spaghetti and the spaghetti cacio e pepe at Osteria La Buca on Melrose is probably my favorite when in need of authentic Italian food. But as an Italian, I’m actually all about gelato. I'd rather just have that and skip the other meals. I'm pretty obsessed with Salt & Straw in Larchmont Village, it’s delicious.
Where do you look for fashion inspiration online?
The Corner Store (@the_corner_store) on Instagram, which it is founded by a local LA girl. It is a magical source of inspo and has great ahead-of-trend items.

Depart Foundation is an Italian nonprofit arts organization. No wonder Marta likes it so much.

The organization features emerging and established artists from around the world.
Where do you like to treat yourself to retail therapy in Los Angeles?
Vintage stores like Painted Bird and Decades Inc. are some great places to find special and unique pieces to fill out the closet. The best makeup store ever is Violet Grey. They simply carry the best brands, are in the best location and their interior design is on point. When on the hunt for sneakers, I'd go to the shoes section at Barneys New York Beverly Hills—you can never go wrong at Barney’s. Undefeated on La Brea also has a dope selection of brands and limited-edition collections, Supreme has the best streetwear for men, and I’d recommend Stussy for women looking to perfect their effortless street style look. Adidas Originals on Melrose is great as well. For swimsuits—this is Los Angeles after alI—I only go to the Eres store in Beverly Hills. It’s my favorite swimwear brand, the most elegant and refined. The company is unsurprisingly owned by Chanel.
When you’re trying to impress a date, where do you go for lunch?
I can impress anyone with just the view at the Soho House West Hollywood, but for great food and the drinks with the same exclusive vibe, I’d head to No Name Club. It is the most unexpected and fun club and restaurant where you might just see Jake Gyllenhaal, bump into Susan Sarandon or meet Kelly Osbourne on the way out. What really makes this place so cool is that the people behind it don't want you to know about it. The club owners don't want any press, but of course celebrities and other famous people are always partying there.
If you had unlimited funds for 24 hours, what would be your itinerary for the day?
Breakfast at the Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles At Beverly Hills, shopping at Barneys New York Beverly Hills, Maxfield and Just One Eye, beauty treatments at The Beverly Hills Hotel Spa by La Prairie and dinner at Nobu Los Angeles. And obviously cupcakes from Magnolia Bakery are a must!
