Ventura Boulevard continues to heat up with the opening of a swanky new French bistro. Montresor takes over the former Gadarene Swine and has redone the space to look like your Moulin Rouge-fantasy of Paris. The opening menu runs deep with wine and aperitifs, as well as classic bistro fare like French onion soup, creme brulee and short ribs. Yes, berets are still "in" and count as dates if the dude from Buble falls through.
