When you’re landing at LAX and peering down at the city from up above, do you ever notice that there are perhaps more swimming pools in LA than there are vegans? Pools and Los Angeles go together like white girls and Chipotle, so it’s only natural that hotel swimming pools are some of the city’s most desirable destinations. Varying in degrees of exclusivity, the hotel pools of LA are a network of perfectly chlorinated or salted bodies of water complete with parties, cocktails, live music and, babe alert, did BØRNS just saunter past in short shorts?
We took a swan dive with local model, actress and pool aficionado, Gloria Mamurov, and had her freestyle a list of her favorite hotel pools around town. A skilled vegan baker and co-owner of vegan chocolate company Maxichok, she’s always seeking out classy hotel pools with top-notch food and drinks with views and vibes to match. No slushy machine pina coladas and soggy pizza here.

So, where can we find local beauty Gloria Mamurov as the end of summer draws near?
“One of my absolute favorites is the exclusive vibe of Petit Ermitage, especially in the evenings for an extraordinary cocktail. It’s very cozy and private. I’m into the arts and they have some great entertainment in the evenings. It’s a hip, jazzy scene. Very cool for a date-night,” Gloria tells us.
But not all of LA's hotel pools are so exclusive. Read on for her top seven pool picks all over Los Angeles:
