Where: Los Angeles
What: Laugh, love and explore with the Levy family.
Who: The Levy family is an adventurous bunch. Parents Omer and Kiki recently returned from a two-year stint living in a remote jungle beach town on the Pacific coast of Panama. Omer and Kiki are both creative types, who orbit mostly around fashion and design. Kiki is currently a brand manager for a brand called Christy Dawn, and works as a freelance art director. Omer just launched his own creative agency focusing on everything from product development to brand content and creative direction. Their daughter, Ruby Lou, was born last March, and has since totally consumed their lives in the best way possible.

Point Dume State Beach
Malibu, All ages
Omer & Kiki Levy: It's one of the most protected and beautiful beaches in LA county. We love going and setting up camp for the day, which consists of our ridgeback Luna, some surfboards, beers, and a simple little picnic setup. Another bonus is being able to build a little bonfire on the beach and just enjoy some good ol fashion chill time. Definitely a family friendly beach.
Gilbert's El Indio Restaurant
Santa Monica, All ages
O&KL: A great old school family run restaurant, and a staple in the south Santa Monica/Venice community. The pozole is definitely one of the menu highlights, and some great enchiladas and traditional mexican goodness. We're big fans of the soulful neighborhood places rather than just the trendy hot spots. Family vibes for sure!
Westridge-Canyonback Wilderness Park
Brentwood, All ages
O&KL: Our go-to hiking spot, and one of the only trails on the westside that allows dogs off-leash. We pretty much only go on weekdays to avoid the crowds. Definitely best to go in the morning or evening hours to avoid the midday heat too. There's a bunch of different trails for all level hikers, and within minutes you get to enjoy 360 views of LA. If you have it in you, hike all the way to the top and check out the old Nike missile site remaining from the cold war era. You could manage a stroller on the main trail, but a carrier is definitely the way to go!
Venice Canals Walkway
Venice, All ages
O&KL: A little sanctuary in the heart of Venice Beach. We love going for magic hour strolls through the Canals. Some ducks to chase, flowers to smell, and just a quick little escape from all the LA noise.
Los Angeles County Museum of Art
Mid-Wilshire, All ages
O&KL: Always worth a visit to check out the latest exhibits. We like to just wander around, grab a snack, and take in whatever new exhibit is on display! Ruby likes the noodles installation too.
Old Place Restaurant
Agoura Hills, All ages
O&KL: One of our favorite weekend brunch spots! It's like going back in time and stepping into a western style saloon. Great food, tasty drinks, and some all around cool vibes. The place has an endless amount of cool history and old hollywood stories. It's a nice drive thru Malibu and good to follow up with a beach day! Family friendly.
La Isla Bonita Taco Truck
Venice, All ages
O&KL: The original Venice taco truck (over 25 years) and easily one of the best tacos and ceviche tostadas in LA! It's always parked on Rose Ave and 4th St. and great for a quick mid-day snack.
