Cutthroat Kitchen competitor Rouha Sadighi was on the search for the perfect over medium egg when she decided to open her own food truck,
The Rooster. The truck, which often finds itself on Abbot Kinney next to
Blue Bottle, has gained a cult following for Rouha's Rico Suave, a breakfast burrito with eggs, bacon, tater tots, avocado, cheese, salsa and cilantro cream wrapped up in a flour tortilla.

A glorious spread from The Rooster Truck
Creating the breakfast of champions is the chef’s main gig, but Rouha is also a skater chick who grew up skating in SoCal. Fill your belly with the Rico Suave and then cop a new skate deck at one of her favorite skate shops. Whatever you do, no mall grabs!
ZJ Boarding House

Rouha Sadighi: Been around that spot since I was in high school and all of us would go there to check out latest skate shoes, deck designs and surf apparel. Definitely takes me back!

RS: This is a legendary spot. It's a hole in the wall where I remember seeing my first pair of Airwalk GTO shoes and telling anyone who was down, to buy them for my birthday. It's a special place in that it's got that old Dogtown feel to it still and I'm pretty sure the original staff is still there.
Hot Rod
West Los Angeles, $$
RS: This place turned into a boutique skate shop but it's still super dope. The shop used to be a little more grungy but has since evolved into almost a skate gallery of sorts with the decor of a grown up who still likes to nosegrind on occasion.
District
Culver City, $$$
RS: Culver City spot that’s just packed with a ton of skate gear and my personal favorite, Vans. Anyone smart would have at least three pairs of vans in their shop.

RS: RIP shoutout! This used to be a skate shop in the back part of this thrift store and they carried all the latest brands in skate at that time (Duffs, eS, Girl, etc). Small and just chill vibe that someone should resurrect.
